Kiep Hat Rong is about Thamz' journey into the soul music world.

Thamz is an MC born in Hai Phong - Viet Nam. Influenced by the rawness of hustle life, he watched and absorbed all the material from a street hard life. During his journey to Ha Noi, he met a lot of good master music minds teaching him about how to keep your music organic. After sharing energy with Slowz, TBO, Kid Nasty, and a lot of Hip Hop soul brothers, he got deeply affected by Black Music Culture and all its root genres. Album is about the way he flips Hip Hop in Asia's Culture. The album stays true to the Hip Hop production formula: raw drum sample from vinyl, groovy rhythm sequenced on MPC, featuring vibration from synthesizer collection. Besides that, the lyrics part is 100% Vietnam poet - expressing his vision about the art scene in Viet Nam in his own way. The way Thamz vibing out with all producers in the album (Slowz, Batroc, Ben Blue, Hieu Rock) shows the world that Viet Nam we got soul!
